This dish embodies the delicious flavors of a burrito with a brand new way to serve...as a pie!
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ an onion
  • 1 package taco seasoning (1.25 oz.)
  • 4 large burrito-size flour tortillas
  • 1 can refried beans (16 oz.)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2-3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Green onion for garnish
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Brown and drain the ground beef.
  3. While the beef is browning, chop up half of an onion.
  4. Add the onions to the pan and cook until they become translucent.
  5. Then add a package of taco seasoning and a can of refried beans to the pan.
  6. While the meat mixture is warming, mix 1 can of mushroom soup and ½ cup of sour cream in a separate bowl.
  7. Once you are ready to start layering, trim the outer edge of your tortilla with clean kitchen scissors so that it fits nicely into the bottom of your pie pan.
  8. Remove the tortilla and spray the pie pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  9. Spread ¼ of the sour cream mixture into the bottom of your pan. Add a tortilla and then ¼ of the meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Repeat this 4 times total.
  10. Cook uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  11. Remove from oven and top with freshly chopped green onions.
  12. Slice like a pie and serve!
