Winter Weather is upon us and now is the perfect time to mix up this solution of homemade windshield de-icer to keep in your car when the weather turns nasty!
With only 2 ingredients (one being water), making your own de-icer is a breeze. And don’t worry…the rubbing alcohol keeps it from freezing even when left out in the cold for hours at a time! Unless of course you are somewhere where it is -128 degrees Fahrenheit. Then you might have a bit of a problem. 🙂
Here is the recipe:
1/3 cup water
2/3 cup rubbing alcohol
Mix the ingredients and use a funnel to pour into a spray bottle. Make sure the nozzle is turned to off and throw the bottle in your car to use next time the weather turns frosty.
